Isn’t it surprising, that despite the increasing efforts of the
Government and non-governmental organizations at creating enabling
environment through effective policy formulation for addressing
challenges to the adoption of exclusive breastfeeding practice, women
themselves are not taking advantage of such policies to secure the
support of their husbands while nursing their babies? For instance,
why are they not encouraging their husbands to apply for the new
paternity leave?
